S.W.E.E.P runs on your own PC and trades your TopstepX account directly. Pick a playbook (pre-market sweeps, 3-bar reversals, fair value gaps or 15 chart patterns), set your risk in dollars, and it executes every trade with a stop and target attached.
Double-click the launcher on your Windows PC and enter your license key once.
Sign in with your TopstepX username and API key, then pick your account and futures contract.
Select a playbook in Strategy studio and set your dollar risk: per trade, per day, stop and target.
Check the readiness list, confirm the exact sizing and brackets, and arm the bot. Or schedule an unattended session.
The pre-market sweep is the flagship, but it's one of 18 built-in templates. Each playbook is a fixed set of rules you can read in full. Nothing is hidden and nothing is left to guesswork. One playbook runs at a time.
Detection is deterministic and runs on candles from the TopstepX API. When your selected pattern forms, S.W.E.E.P draws it on the chart and waits for the trigger.
Type your setup the way you'd say it. The builder turns it into an exact playbook and shows every rule it will execute. If you ask for something it can't do, it tells you instead of guessing. Try it:
A fixed-template interpreter, not an AI code generator. Only the rules shown are included, and saving a playbook never arms it. Times and dollar risk are set separately with explicit controls.
You choose the stop and target for the whole position in dollars. S.W.E.E.P reads the contract's tick value from the API, picks the largest size that fits your budget, and shows you the exact brackets before you arm.
If anything is uncertain (a dropped connection, an unconfirmed order, a missing stop), S.W.E.E.P holds, locks or protects. It won't push through.
Every order goes in with its stop and target through TopstepX Auto OCO. After the fill, the bot checks that the protective stop exists. If it doesn't, it requests a close and locks.
Every order is recorded before it's sent. The same order can't go twice, and nothing is retried automatically.
If a result can't be confirmed, execution locks until the API shows a flat account and you review it.
Brief API or dashboard drops pause new entries. Trading resumes only when fresh data and every check pass again.
Only fresh signals seen after arming count. A missed move is never chased or replayed.
At most one entry attempt per direction per contract each trading day. Rejected attempts count too.
Cancel every working order and close every position on the account, including manual trades.
You review the account, contract, size and brackets, then arm. The bot trades your playbook inside the entry window.
Switching to manual pauses the bot. Place Buy or Sell Market tickets that still use your saved dollar stop and target.
Approve the next session once. The bot waits for the entry window, runs every check and arms itself. The dashboard can be closed.
Pick a saved playbook and any completed weekday. S.W.E.E.P replays it candle by candle on real TopstepX history, using your risk settings plus the fees and slippage you set.
Topstep doesn't allow order flow from VPS, VPN or remote servers, so S.W.E.E.P runs locally, on the computer you trade from.

No. The New York sweep is the flagship strategy, but S.W.E.E.P is a full trading bot for TopstepX. It also includes 3-bar reversals, FVG midpoint retests and 15 chart patterns, and you can save your own playbooks with your own times, candle interval and direction.
It connects through the TopstepX API, which is available for Trading Combine and Express Funded accounts. Topstep currently excludes Live Funded accounts from API trading. You'll need API access enabled on your TopstepX account.
You search for a futures symbol, pick an active contract from your account (NQ and ES, for example) and load it. Sizing adapts automatically to that contract's tick value.
Yes. S.W.E.E.P runs on your own Windows PC, because Topstep doesn't allow order flow from VPS or remote servers. In an unattended session you can close the dashboard, but keep Windows awake and the app running.
Yes. Manual mode pauses the bot and gives you Buy and Sell Market tickets. Each ticket uses your saved dollar stop and target, and the same daily limits apply. You can also close a position or flatten the whole account at any time.
After purchase you get a license key. Enter it once in the app to activate your copy. If the license server is briefly unreachable, a grace period of up to 7 days keeps you running. Safety controls like pause, close and flatten always stay available.
Not directly. The API doesn't expose every Combine or Express rule, so S.W.E.E.P enforces your own daily loss limit and per-trade risk. Keep Topstep's account-level limits in place as well.
No. No strategy wins every trade, and slippage, gaps and connectivity can exceed any estimate. S.W.E.E.P is built to follow your rules with discipline and to protect your account from mistakes. It doesn't promise results.
Pick a playbook, set your limits, and let S.W.E.E.P execute it the same way every time.
